By accessing or using RateSafi ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RateSafi is a comparison website that displays exchange rates and fees from various money transfer providers. We help users compare options for sending money from the United States to Kenya and other countries.

Important: RateSafi does NOT:

  • Transfer money on your behalf
  • Hold or process funds
  • Act as a money transmitter or financial institution
  • Guarantee exchange rates or fees shown

3. Information Accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to display accurate information, but rates and fees change frequently. The information shown on RateSafi:

  • Is based on data captured at a specific time (shown as a timestamp)
  • May not reflect current rates at the time you view it
  • Should be verified on the provider's website before completing a transfer

We are not responsible for any differences between rates shown on RateSafi and actual rates offered by providers.

4. Third-Party Services

When you click through to a money transfer provider, you leave RateSafi and enter that provider's website or app. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and privacy policies, not ours.

We are not responsible for:

  • The accuracy of information on provider websites
  • The quality of service provided by third parties
  • Any transactions you complete with providers
  • Any disputes between you and providers

5. Affiliate Relationships

RateSafi participates in affiliate programs with some money transfer providers. This means we may earn a commission when you click through to a provider and complete a transfer.

Our affiliate relationships do not influence our rankings or recommendations. We display providers based on the value they offer to users.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RateSafi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, arising from your use of the Service.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
